Virginia Wildlife

I am so proud to tell you all that T, his brother Taylor and Skipper were featured in this month’s issue of Virginia Wildlife!

They interviewed and did the photo shoot sometime last winter and had no idea their story would make the front page!  But it did and it looks awesome!

T, Taylor and Skipper

The article is about duck hunting in kayaks. Which is not something a lot of hunters do because duck hunting requires lots of equipment, i.e. decoys, your guns, paddle, the dog, etc.  It’s a lot to try to fit into a kayak.

But there are sweet advantages to being able to duck hunt from a kayak.  For one you can get a kayak into a very shallow creek and be able to access birds that big boaters would not be able to access.

It’s a great article and the boys look great.  But I have to say that Skipper stole the show.  She is such a sweet little girl and is so photogenic.  I thinks it’s in her blood!

T wrote about this article on his blog as well and went into more detail about the interview and the photo shoot itself.  Here is the link to his blog: http://web.mac.com/tjenkins43/Tidewater_Journal/Ducks/Entries/2011/10/10_Kayak_Hunting_in_Virginia_Wildlife.html

If you don’t subscribe to VA Wildlife Magazine I implore you to go out and get yourself a copy!
